The above image data was taken with a RCOS 14.25" F7.9 Telescope, SBIG STL11000 and AOL. Total exposure time 5 hours.
M104 is placed in the sky about as poorly as possible from the Barden Ridge Observatory, urban lighting for over 4 million people light up the sky directly below.
Despite the veary heavy light pollution this image satisfyingly reveals some structure within the dust lanes and the very faint globular clusters in the halo.
