Total Lunar Eclipse 2007
A solar eclipse when seen from the moon must truly be a spectacular sight.
As the earth blocks the light of the sun, the earth's upper atmosphere would create a dazzling back illuminated "Blue saphire ring".
Evidence of this can be seen here, with the lunar limb taking on a subtle blue hue just prior to it entering deep inthe the earth's shadow, at which point
the earth would show a 360 degree red sunset circling the globe
