The image of above well known southern deep sky object was acquired from northern California.

A Paramount ME, 14.25" RCOS and SBIG STL11000 was used to gather the data (LRGB 10 minutes each channel)

via the internet, with all functions including weather monitoring, instrument power-up (& later, power off)

telescope focus, camera orientation and dome/shutter control being controlled by a internet connected Apple Powerbook laptop.
