The roll-over image was captured from urban skies using a 400mm F8 RC
This combination helps reduce the effects of light pollution
while imaging from an urban sky, while maximizing the signal and system resolution.
The base image, was taken through a 250mm F4 but with higher sampling (smaller pixels),
it takes advantage of a low noise camera and uses hundreds of short exposure images
to reduce noise, the effect of atmospheric turbulence and tracking errors.

(before you ask...selective noise masking has attenuated some background field stars
...pixel-peepers will no doubt see where the mask was applied :) )
