was processed with Nikita Misiura's star removal software: Starnet++

Suffice to say the above image is not "real", there is an abundance of stars in this region.

But, with clever software, attention seeking stars can be removed from the stage.

Doing so reveals subtle and quite beautiful structures that permeate the ionised gas clouds.

In this view, the interplay between interstellar gas and dust,

without their noisy stellar neighbours,

can be seen from a remarkably different perspective.
